Workday is looking for a Front End Software Development Engineer with passion and an appetite for knowledge - who loves building great and intuitive products using the latest UI technologies. If you are energized by building outstanding products where you get to have direct interaction with users, this is for you!
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user interfaces and web applications using React, JavaScript & TypeScript.
Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement and integrate front-end components.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest React JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript best practices and technologies.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
[If applicable: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.]
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
2+ years of experience with state management libraries. Specific experience with React-Redux, Redux-Toolkit, and React Context is a plus
2+ years of experience with Material UI or similar component libraries and design systems.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Other Qualifications:
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with the Vite build system is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
