Product Designer

At World Labs, our mission is to revolutionize artificial intelligence by developing Large World Models, taking AI beyond language and 2D visuals into the realm of complex 3D environments, both virtual and real. We are looking for a Product Designer to establish the look and feel of user-facing 3D creative tools and experiences built on top of our spatially intelligent AI models. This role focuses on crafting beautiful and intuitive 2D and 3D user interfaces while collaborating with product engineers to ensure robust technical implementation. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about creating user experiences that are as functional as they are visually striking, and want to help define the visual language and UX in the apps and products built on top of World Labs’ spatially intelligent 3D AI models. You will manage the creation of interactive and responsive UI components, collaborating with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate designs into seamless user experiences. Improve UI/UX using user feedback and performance metrics, and maintain scalable design systems for consistency.

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Experience: Proven experience as a product designer or in a similar role, working in collaborative environments with designers and engineers.

  • Design Savvy: A strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, with experience using design tools like Figma for prototyping and collaboration.

  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to approach challenges with a user-first mindset, crafting innovative and effective solutions.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and provide constructive feedback in design and code reviews.

  • Passion for Innovation: A drive to stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in design and development.

  • Hands-On Implementation: Expertise in transforming design prototypes into functional, polished UIs with exceptional attention to detail.

  • 2D and 3D Domain Experience: A track record of designing compelling, intuitive interfaces in both 2D web applications and 3D experiences such as videogames, AR/VR apps, 3D creative tools, or 3D data visualizers is a plus.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS is a plus.
