By creating engaging, timely, and pertinent content, the Writing Manager will advance the company's strategic marketing goals. In this role, you will be in charge of coming up with and producing written content for a range of communications, including emails, video scripts, printed marketing materials, and web media. To ensure project goals are fulfilled and timelines are met, the position demands open, client-focused communication with all team members.
In this position, you need to have a solid grasp of grammar and Associated Press (AP) style and be able to edit for conciseness, readability, and clarity. In this deadline-driven environment, success depends on having excellent project management abilities, creativity, and a positive outlook.
How you will contribute:
- Develop written content for a wide variety of marketing communications, including printed marketing collateral, email communications, video scripts, and online media
- Supervise the work of Content Team members to ensure FORVIS style through all communications
- Review and edit marketing communications to ensure the content is concise, grammatically correct, free of errors, and in line with FORVIS style
- Identify and remove risk language from marketing content in line with the firm’s risk management policies
- Communicate effectively with industry marketers and other internal clients to understand the objectives of each project and help them achieve their goals through relevant content
- Collaborate with other Creative Marketing team members to ensure consistent brand style through all marketing communications
- Manage time wisely to simultaneously work on multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines
- Exhibit a desire for continuous growth and development, welcome constructive criticism and coaching, and learn lessons from mistakes
- Responsible for supervising members of the Content Team

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years or more of experience in content writing or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Marketing, Journalism/Communications, accounting, or a complementary discipline
- Excellent overall writing skills with exceptional spelling and grammar
- Some business travel will be required. The amount will vary based on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SEO strategies and keyword placement
