Opportunity Overview
North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is an industry leader in the exceptional delivery of community healthcare. We are looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Hybrid). Under the general direction of the Talent Acquisition Program Manager, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for assisting with administrative and operational support to our Talent Acquisition Team. The person in this role will be an integral contributor in ensuring that the recruiting, interviewing, and selection processes are effective, equitable, and aligned with our values, making this a positive experience for our candidates and team members. The TA Coordinator will support NSCH’s efforts to develop and execute recruitment strategies focused on targeting high-quality candidates in the healthcare space through cultivation and pipeline development. The Coordinator must have a passion for finding the most qualified, diverse talent who will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care to all. Solid ability to multi-task, be organized, have a sense of urgency, and be forward-thinking. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing passive and active candidates in the healthcare field.Duties/Responsibilities:• Assist the TA team by identifying talent sources and sourcing strategies to build and strengthen a top-of-funnel candidate pipeline that will result in the growth of candidate applications.• Evaluate candidates based on core competencies and alignment with our mission/values.• Build effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of talent and cultivate a pipeline of candidates for key hard-to-fill and high-volume open positions throughout NSCH.• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Program Manager and hiring managers to determine position specifications, pre-screening questions, and interview questions and solve staffing challenges.• Source candidates through Internet job boards, subscription databases, cold calling, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative candidate sourcing strategies in alignment with industry and labor market trends.• Track and coordinate internal applicants to ensure all internal applicants are granted an interview with hiring managers.• Review resumes and qualifications to determine the suitability of candidates and send resumes to the hiring manager, as well as upload to SharePointdrive for future reference.• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing NSCH’s participation in internal and external job fairs, including traveling to attend career fairs and interview days and host information sessions.• Manage job board advertising across multiple platforms, including monitoring which jobs are posted, reviewing resumes, and working with vendor partners to optimize our accounts.• Pre-screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates’ suitability for presentation to hiring managers.• Follow up with the hiring manager and candidates after an interview and provide feedback and guidance on the next steps.• Set up second-round interviews, conduct reference and background checks, and send out rejection emails to candidates who have been interviewed but will not receive a job offer.• Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process are in place and that hiring processes are compliant with internal policies and practices as well as federal and state law.• Attend and coordinate logistics for job fairs, employment, and networking events as needed.• Work closely with the TA Program Manager to constantly refine the hiring process.• Perform additional administrative duties as required to support the TA Team.• Performs other duties assigned by the manager.The OrganizationNorth Shore Community Health (NSCH) is a highly accomplished community health organization that prides itself on its compassionate approach to serving the surrounding communities with comprehensive and culturally sensitive care.
