About The Position

We are seeking an experienced YouTube Optimization Coordinator with strong attention to detail to handle day-to-day operations for several client owned YouTube channels.

Successful applicants have a passion for YouTube, growing engaged organic audiences, and can handle juggling multiple projects on any given day.

They ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, the ability to operate independently, organize their time to ensure internal and external deadlines are met, maintain clear communication with multiple teams, and the follow-through necessary to position all video releases for success.

This role will report directly into the SVP of Strategy & Audience Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operation across multiple YouTube channels.
• Manage content schedules and track content production to ensure deadlines are met.
• Upload content, ensuring channels adhere to YouTube best practices.
• Gather assets for thumbnails & oversee design requests.
• Review daily video performance and communicate with stakeholders as needed.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders reviewing performance and channel activities.
• Join meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review channel activities and performance.
• Write and edit optimized titles, descriptions, and keywords to align with best practices.
• Conduct keyword research to keep up to date on platform developments and trends.
• Maintain comments sections and community tabs as assigned, including removal of offensive comments, responding to comments, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of YouTube channel management experience.
• YouTube Certified applicants preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suites products.
• Proficiency with Photoshop.
• BA/BS preferred.
