As the Business Transient & Diplomatic Sales Manager at Accor in Washington, DC, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for guests at our property. Your passion for hospitality and motivation to excel will help you build strong, lasting relationships with corporate clients and diplomatic guests alike. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your responsibilities will include growing our corporate negotiated and diplomatic segments, managing existing relationships, and actively pursuing new business opportunities to meet ambitious sales goals. You'll have the chance to develop strategic action plans that align with Sofitel Standards to boost our transient sales revenue. Being proactive is essential; you will need to participate in tradeshows and promotional events to uncover new business avenues. Your days will be filled with communication, following up on leads within 24 hours, and ensuring that our hotel services align with clients' specific needs. In this engaging role, you will maintain a high level of exposure for our hotel through direct sales efforts, while contributing positively to the team with your excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
