Amazon Pharmacy is seeking an experienced business developer to establish and manage critical relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturer services providers (Hubs) and pharmaceutical manufacturers. This position will manage strategic opportunities and partnerships on behalf of Amazon Pharmacy to drive growth and foster patient-centric initiatives for manufacturer partners. The Business Developer will be instrumental in fostering new pharmacy relationships with Hubs and manufacturers that desire innovation and an easy customer experience. This role will be responsible for attracting and winning new business partners.
This role will support and execute on the Amazon Pharmacy vision, by driving the growth and profitability of the business. Within the first year this individual contributor will grow business by establishing business relationships with Hubs and manufacturers with the goal of winning business. The business developer will manage the entire sales cycle.
The Business Developer will work with a dynamic set of pharmacy leaders across multiple departments including, but not limited to Pharmacy Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, Product and Tech.

- Establish new business opportunities with manufacturer services providers (Hubs) and pharmaceutical manufactures
- Educate potential clients about innovative new features at Amazon Pharmacy
- Seek opportunities to participate in Hub programs as a dispensing pharmacy partner
- Contribute to request for proposals (RFPs)
- Manage the sales process for new business
- Contribute to the continued evolution of our product and services offering as a SME in the Hub services and branded pharmaceutical manufacture industry
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
