Entry Level Healthcare Rep

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Healthcare Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls from healthcare providers, doctors, and other stakeholders. You will assess the purpose of each inquiry and provide accurate and thorough information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory agencies to maintain plan licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries from healthcare providers, doctors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assess patient needs and provide assistance or route them to the appropriate department or party.
  • Project a professional and helpful demeanor to all callers.
  • Remain calm and composed when handling difficult or upset callers.
  • Consistently provide accurate and thorough information to callers.
  • Utilize available resources to research and resolve moderately complex issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • One or more years of experience working in a healthcare or related business environment performing general office duties.
  • Experience working in a managed care environment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of a vocational/technical/business program in a related field of study, such as Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant, may be considered in lieu of work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
