Given our exceptional growth, we are expanding and hiring a Solutions Engineer to join us on this exciting journey. As our sales team grows, we are hiring a Solutions Engineer to partner with the sales team to dive deep into client needs, develop tailored solutions, and demonstrate how we can meet their needs effectively. 

Responsibilities  

The Bishop Fox Solutions Engineer is the backbone of our sales process. Collaborating closely with the sales team, Solutions Engineers help strategize for successful sales and delivery. They're the experts who bridge the gap between technical jargon and client understanding, delivering presentations and demos that resonate from IT teams to top executives. They ensure that our clients fully understand the value of Bishop Fox's services and solutions. 

Day in and day out, Solutions Engineers gather crucial client information, identify risks, and design robust security testing plans to ensure our clients' peace of mind. It's all about making sure our solutions align perfectly with our client's needs and expectations.

  • Deliver sales and technical pre-sales support to customers.
  • Develop and deliver customer facing demos, presentations, and solution proposals.
  • Deliver product training and knowledge to customers and channel partners.
  • Research the customer’s business and understand their technology and the security concerns that relate to it.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience as a pre-sales engineer. 
  • 1+ years' working in offensive security consulting or supporting technical sales of offensive security solutions and services.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant technical discipline is preferred.
  • A broad understanding of IT infrastructure, Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms, Linux, and modern web application/API architecture.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software architecture and the fundamentals of networking.
  • Understanding of the business needs and forces that drive technical and security decisions.
  • Ability to establish and grow professional, consultative relationships with our clients, up to and including the c-level.
  • Responsive; you prioritize timely communication and action, minimizing wait times. 
  • The ability to travel 10-20% to client sites and sales meetings.
