Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience


Location:  Grand Junction, CO


Full Time, In-Office Monday-Friday

Position Summary

On behalf of CNS Cares (“CNS” or “Company”), the Human Resources Coordinator will assist in the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department for the company. An HR Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the HR Business Partner (HRBP), managing tasks like maintaining employee records, assisting with employee inquiries, and supporting onboarding, while also ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.


Essential Functions

Employees must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:


  • Supports the onboarding and hiring process for new hires in coordination with the HRBP and local team.
  • Answers office phone
  • Answers employee questions via email and phone regarding HR and general office questions Support training for HR Admin Assistants, Onboarding and General Manager HR functions.
  • Prepares initial responses for UI claims in designated region.
  • Process employee status change requests and upload documents in the HRIS system.
  • Keeps employee files in the HRIS system up to date and performs internal audits annually.
  • Processes terminations packets per state regulations for regions.
  • Runs exclusion reports monthly for OIG, SAMS, Nursys, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Supports HRBP and local staff in State Audits
  • Process annual rescreening requirements: background, OIG, TB, fingerprinting, etc. as required by state and federal law.
  • Monitors staff compliance – licenses & certifications.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience


Required:

  • Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or closely related field
  • Minimum of one year experience in Human Resources experience or related work

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of Human Resources experience preferred
