Job Description

This position is located out of our Bloomington, IN office. The role is eligible for hybrid work, with a typical schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week.

The salary range for this role is $47,000-$49,000

The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a strategic, creative, and technically savvy marketing innovator to help drive our website user experience and functionality. This role will use a strategic approach to driving business outcomes through our digital presence. 

In this role, you’ll primarily support the fundraising efforts of our Indianapolis and Regional Campuses in partnership with our Account Managers. The core skills of this role require an organized project management approach, meeting coordination, and other administrative abilities. A basic understanding of Excel is valuable for this position, as well. Your daily responsibilities include campaign scheduling, CSU branded campaign communications and coordination, and serving as a liaison to the Marketing & Communications department. Each campus, school, and unit (CSU) is unique, so you’ll create campaign roadmaps for each CSU that compliments and integrates with our core central annual giving roadmap.

It takes a lot of planning to make an annual giving campaign successful, as we are communicating with thousands of donors and friends of the University throughout the year. Your role on the team is essential to keep campaigns and other communications with priority giving audiences on track. Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in fundraising, development, or marketing, with experience in project coordination or client services is preferred
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Ability to manage projects and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with higher education fundraising is a plus
