The Vice President, Franchise Operations is a key leadership role responsible for driving culture, guest experience, operating standards, training, and growth for the Arby’s restaurants while maximizing sales and franchisee profitability. Duties and Responsibilities
Build a culture of high performance and accountability which embodies our values and delivers on our brand promise
Drive sales and franchisee profitability through the improvement of operating standards, guest experience, and growth
Achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as well as key financial and development results equal to or better than annual Budget
Supervise and motivate Director of Franchise Operations and Business Consultants to uphold standards to meet business objectives and enhance guest experience
Establish and maintain a best-in-class organization across the Operations team
Support collaboration and execution of strategic initiatives across Marketing, Development, Supply and Technology
Establish and maintain best-in-class franchisee relationships for mutual success between franchisor and franchisee owners
Develop and execute strategic market plans to drive sales, guest experience, franchisee profitability, new store development and remodels
Experience establishing and driving development growth across multiple markets, both market reset and new territory scenarios
Manage franchisee business reviews, eligibility to expand, food safety audits, reported sales and P&L submittal
Ensure the development of Certified Training locations and the execution of training programs for new and existing franchisee training
Review the performance of Directors of Franchise Operations in accordance with Inspire performance management processes
Ensure all restaurants maintain safe food safety and security practices as outlined in our operating procedures and required by regulatory agencies
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws, as well as company and brand standards
Participate in the development of annual strategy and budgets
Create an atmosphere where people motivate themselves to achieve mutually beneficial goals
Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Minimum: High School or GED
Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
10+ years of experience in Restaurant Operations or related leadership role, managing both people and processes
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others
Proven operations results and business acumen
Strong planning and execution
Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and guide constructive change
Able to think strategically and be comfortable “rolling up the sleeves” and executing the strategic plan
Excellent financial, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of growing and developing talent within your organization to create a leadership bench
Capacity to manage multiple diverse responsibilities, establish priorities, and make sound independent judgments for the business

This position will be based in our Global Support Center in Atlanta-GA, with the expectation of 50% travel in the field.
