Summer Intern, Strategy & Planning

Job Description Summary:

KISS is seeking a highly motivated an Intern to support the Strategy & Planning Team in enhancing brand positioning and equity across our portfolio. This role will involve conducting competitive brand research, assessing our existing brand strategies, and providing insights to shape the development of new brands. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about branding and consumer insights.

Job Description:

We are looking for passionate college or university students who are currently enrolled or will be enrolled in Fall 2025, majoring in a relevant field. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work 36 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM). The program will run for no more than 12 weeks, with a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct brand research and competitive analysis across social media, retail stores, and websites to identify key branding strategies and best practices.
  • Evaluate the branding of KISS’s existing brands, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in brand development by providing strategic recommendations for new brands in development.
  • Summarize findings into case studies and actionable insights that support brand positioning and corporate brand equity management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to align branding strategies.
  • Support the Brand Strategy Team in developing and refining brand portfolio strategies and brand guidelines for KISS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
  •  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
  •  Creative and strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving orientation.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The anticipated compensation range is

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
