Assistant Project Manager- Waste Water

Assistant Project Manager – Direct Hire Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a growing construction team. The APM will support Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction to oversee projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) project delivery while ensuring timely, on-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Coordinate subcontractors and maintain accurate project documentation

  • Support material procurement, submittals, and change order processes

  • Help manage project costs, labor reports, and vendor invoicing

  • Promote jobsite safety and maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of construction/project management experience

  • Proficient with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software

  • Strong understanding of construction finance and contract management

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Valid driver’s license required
