You are an expert Project Coordinator or Project Manager with a minimum of 4 - 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be involved in:

  •  Applying a variety of established processes to deliver technical design guidance, continually report and provide recommendation on program compliance.
  • interpreting Architectural documentation, project schedules and program guidance.
  •  Writing reports for the client (using a distinctive style)
  • Presenting information driven project updates and to deliver recommendations for issues with credibility.
  •  Proactively develop a professional business relationship with the client’s core business and supply chain.
  • Manage mandated program requirements and the ability to track the performance of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Manage individual tasks throughout the design and construction process including submittal and RFI process.
  • Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.
  • Ensure project compliance with client’s document controls and file specifications.
  • Administer project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation.

Client Relationship Management

  • Works in partnership with clients to build a win-win relationship and can articulate the benefits achieved
  • Builds relationships that extend beyond delivery activities
  • Understands and shares the client’s strategy and goals
  • Contributes to development and closure of new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related field is desired. 
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction industry experience with a successful history of working in a client-side project management environment.
  • Experience with project management of retail, real estate, fit-out or branding rollout is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Project or P6.
  • Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.
  • Bilingual with French & English is mandatory. 
  • There will be travel required to conduct site visits, candidate must have valid G license.
