Technical Project Manager

At Validata, we are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, schedule and manage successfully complex testing, migration and reconciliation projects for banks, fintechs and financial services.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Execute and monitor project activities and ensure that project deliverables are met
  • Analyze all management and technical processes to ensure they’re delivered as expected
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors
  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess and improve project performance
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met
  • Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Validata solutions and understanding of best practices, methodology and value propositions as these will be directly linked with each client project.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with banking projects
  • Proven 7+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, specifically in banking projects.
  • Familiarity with banking systems and technologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Very good command of English language. Excellent written and verbal skills. Additional language is considered an asset
  • Strong leadership, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications will be considered an asset
