Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager - Steel Fabrication to oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects. This role involves managing timelines, budgets, resources, and client relationships to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience managing industrial or manufacturing-related projects. This role is very interactive with customers so every required skill set is equally important.
Responsibilities
· Plan, execute, and finalize projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
· Answering customer correspondence (calls/emails) to provide quotations, give job status, and solve technical inquiries.
· Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
· Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
· Oversee project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and financial tracking.
· Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
· Lead project teams, providing direction and fostering collaboration.
· Implement best practices in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Perform additional duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in fabrication in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
· Understanding welding processes, specifically piping systems and ASME pressure vessels.
· Able to interpret blueprints.
· Strong knowledge of inside sales and/or project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
· Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
· A detail-oriented work style, comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a consistent work approach.
· Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
· Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
