Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a 2nd Shift Production Operators organization in Tulsa, OK. Our Tulsa factory is the home of Whirlpool’s US freestanding and slide-in range production. This role is an onsite position.

First shift Monday to Friday position. $34.25 per hour

Hours are flexible

Your responsibilities will include

• Understanding of 24 to 480 voltages.

• knowledge of mechanical parts. (chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings, etc.)

knowledge of electrical parts. (fuses, drives, conduit, wire sizes, etc.

• Able to lift 35 pounds

• Able to stand, sit, stoop, squat or kneel for extended periods of time

  Maintenance Planner Duties

• Support day to day maintenance operations as needed.

• Learn, Teach, Support and help Implement all WCM activities

• Work with engineering and craftsmen to determine and prioritize repairs.

• Scope the full extent of work needed to conduct the maintenance repair.

• Purchase all necessary parts, equipment and services to perform the maintenance work.

• Write all applicable standard maintenance work procedures.

• Discuss plans/scheduling with craftsmen.

• Plan with production to have access to equipment.

• Follow up to verify that the work was performed correctly.

• Obtain bids from contractors and negotiate for the best price.

• Manage work orders using SAP.

• Update equipment and preventive maintenance in SAP

• Assist in Preventive Maintenance schedule writing

• able to successfully complete all Safety training

Minimum requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3 years’ Electrical/Mechanical experience

Preferred skills and experiences

• SAP/Plant maintenance software to search for parts

• Google, Microsoft Office products and SAP

• Assist in off shift down time as needed

• Mentor to the craftsmen
