Procurement Specialist Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage our purchasing activities and vendor relationships. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies essential for our garage door service and installation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain management, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full time remote position that requires weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company’s operational goals.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents.

  • Resolve supplier disputes and address quality issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.

  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

  • Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure the availability of required materials without overstocking.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
