Procurement Manager

This is a newly created position driven by Moneybox’s electric growth. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that goods and services are acquired in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a strong self starter attitude, and the ability to manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.


What You’ll Do
  • The role operates from within the finance team, but is highly cross-functional in its nature. The role is within the Financial Operations team, but also has direct exposure to VP Finance. Responsible include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company’s objectives and ensure efficient operations
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, purchase order creation, and product/service delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high-quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, legal) to align procurement with organisational needs and strategies
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that purchases are made within budgetary constraints
  • Oversee the creation and management of procurement contracts alongside our contracts manager, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined and met
  • Analyse procurement data and generate reports to evaluate supplier performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency.
  • Resolve any supplier-related issues, including disputes, quality concerns, and delivery delays, to maintain smooth operations.

Experience and Skills
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a track record of successful vendor management and cost savings
  • Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of procurement strategies and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights, with a focus on efficiency in the process
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law and supplier/vendor management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to deliver large and complex procurement transformation projects, including; systems, frameworks, procedures, etc
