The Manager, Data Engineering will drive the vision for our data platforms and execute a plan to achieve that vision. Lead Data Engineering team and design the team to scale.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, build data products, and develop data pipelines. Deliver new data sources and capabilities to develop an increasingly powerful data platform that improves analytical decision-making and enables new customer experiences and analytical capabilities. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements. Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for greater scalability. Build infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS “big data” technologies.
Requires Master’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or closely related technical field (foreign equivalent accepted), AWS Professional or Specialty Certification, and two years of experience in data analytics, software development, or business intelligence. Experience must include use of Python, AWS big data technologies, Redshift, Qlikview, Tableau, Hive, and Spark-Streaming. Headquarters (HQ) in Livonia, MI; telecommuting permitted 3x/week.
