Job Description

Purpose:

Evaluate immunosafety risk potential of candidate therapeutic large molecules employing in vitro immunosafety assays to support development of preclinical molecules.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Execute human cytokine release assays including whole blood- and PBMC- based formats.
  • Conduct complement activation assays, troubleshooting and optimizing as needed.
  • Perform cell subset isolation protocols on human whole blood or PBMC samples.
  • Conduct T cell proliferation assay usings isolated cells.
  • Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate documentation, placing data in proper scientific context through review of relevant literature and reporting findings at team meetings.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Biological Sciences, Cellular Immunology, or related field.
  • Understanding of cellular immunology with an emphasis on blood cell subsets and T cell biology.
  • Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panel design, BD LSRFortessa instrument operation, BD FACSDive and FlowJo software, and flow cytometry data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented work ethic and a positive "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivated desire to achieve common business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
