Account Executive

The Role

Hopin is seeking an Account Executive, based in the Americas, who is personable, self-driven, passionate, and ambitious! We’re looking for someone with sales experience and who is super excited to tell others about our events platform. You will be working very closely with other fellow Account Executives and supporting functions to help close deals in a variety of different verticals. This role entails balancing a healthy amount of inbound leads with creating your own pipeline by prospecting and building relationships with potential customers. This role is location flexible - we map our customer facing teams in the Americas based on overlapping your desired working hours with your customers’ time zone.

You will wear many hats at times but will have a key role in our future growth and immediate responsibility. We move fast around here and ramp up very quickly. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong business case for Hopin Platforms through a consultative and value driven sales process.
  • Become a multi-product expert on the Hopin Event Management Solutions, inclusive of being able to demo and answer technical questions on all of our products.
  • Meet and exceed your sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing new sales opportunities and leading contract negotiations
  • Identify, prioritize, and track progress towards key account metrics and annual quota.
  • Work in a team environment with cross function partners, including Business Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Engineers and more to accomplish customer and revenue goals.
  • Leverage modern, best in class sales tools to up-level your skills, work efficiently, and provide insight into customer needs and revenue predictability.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in customer facing roles (sales, business development, etc)
  • 2+ years in closing roles (SaaS preferred)
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities 
  • Fluent English speaker with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech Savvy - love software, tech and excited to learn about new software 
  • Super motivated, can-do attitude, problem solver, and excited by a fast-paced environment 
  • University degree or 4 years of professional experience
