About the role:
The Newsette's creative agency, Newland, is looking for an account manager. While our company HQ is in New York City, all employees are working remotely until further notice.
What you'll do:
The Account Manager will be responsible for the successful day-to-day execution of marketing activations and partnerships with some of the world’s largest and most influential brands. This role requires you to be excellent with clients, talent, and project management, be hands-on, have a strong organizational sensibility, and be fully committed to delivering dynamic marketing campaigns that exceed expectations. Your primary responsibility will be making our clients feel like you’re an extension of their team, problem-solving on their behalf, and celebrating their successes as your own.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for a large agency client, overseeing the end-to-end campaign life cycle, from planning and ideating to strategy and execution to campaign wrap-ups
- Execute large-scale client campaigns, developing and cultivating strong relationships with the client team, and managing internal timelines and deliverables to bring each campaign to life
- Secure and liaise with high-profile celebrity and influencer talent and their representation on campaign deliverables
- Document, distill, and interpret client feedback to communicate next steps and deliverables to team members in other departments as necessary
- Problem solve day-to-day account issues as needed, and understand when escalation is needed and act accordingly
- Demonstrate strong strategic and creative judgment
- Create & manage deliverable timelines for projects
- Work with marketing and paid media teams on media plan and IO creation
- Stay up-to-date with digital media, social trends, and consumer insights and contribute of-the-moment thinking to each step of the brand partnerships process
About you:
- 3+ years of experience in an integrated or influencer marketing, client success, or project management role at a marketing/digital agency, with at least 1 year in a management position
- Experience working directly with clients’ from top-tier national brands on multiple active campaigns with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of success in working with and managing high-profile talent and/or influencers and their representation, ideally in an influencer marketing capacity
- Proactive and process-driven, with the ability to think ahead to the full scope of projects and deliver work on time and accurately
- Solutions-oriented, able to focus on recommending solutions, rather than simply raising red flags
