Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Director to join our Enterprise Products Team to drive forward a modernization program of our Employee Experience Platform. We have a tremendous opportunity to re-invent the Employee journey to attract and retain talent across Achieve’s growing business and Shared Service functions.

In this role, you will partner with HR & Finance stakeholders along with business and functional leaders across the organization to build the best and creative employee experience platform to drive engagement, retention and revenue growth.

Product management at Achieve provides thought leadership for vision and strategy, the business case, driving the planning process to build consensus and clarity on initiatives. As a Product Director, you will define your roadmap, and will have full ownership of it with autonomy and ability to directly impact the business. You will work closely with engineering, design, analytics and data science, and business stakeholders to execute on your roadmap and help customers improve and achieve their financial health.

Qualifications

The Role:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop the product strategy for technology solutions supporting back-office operations, including HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Security. Ensure all back-office teams are equipped with innovative, efficient, and integrated technology systems.
  • Technology Roadmap Management: Manage the development, implementation, and optimization of back-office technologies. Align product roadmaps with business goals, operational needs, and emerging technology trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with leaders from HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Security to understand their operational needs and challenges. Develop technology solutions that streamline processes, improve compliance, enhance security, and drive business value.
  • Back-office Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements that lead to greater operational efficiency, cost savings, and risk mitigation. Leverage automation, data-driven insights, and AI solutions to transform key workflows.
  • Technology Integration & Innovation: Oversee the integration of new and existing systems across the back-office functions. Ensure seamless data flow and coordination between HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, and other operational teams. Explore opportunities to innovate through the use of emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and cloud solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead the efforts to build robust analytics and reporting frameworks across back-office operations. Work with teams to ensure data quality, transparency, and accessibility to support strategic decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners providing technology solutions for back-office operations. Oversee procurement, negotiations, and ensure vendor performance meets organizational requirements and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the back-office technology space. Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of technology solutions and identify areas for ongoing optimization.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams of product managers, business analysts, and technical professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment to drive innovation and operational success.
  • Change Management: Lead the change management process for the adoption and integration of new technologies within back-office functions. Ensure smooth transitions and user adoption through effective communication, training, and support.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology operations, product management, or systems management, with a focus on back-office functions (HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security).
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology projects across multiple business domains, driving efficiency, innovation, and integration.
  • Deep understanding of back-office business processes and their technology needs, including HRIS, ERP
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across various departments.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams, leading product roadmaps, and working closely with developers, business analysts, and other technical professionals.
  • Proven ability to optimize business operations through technology, with a focus on automation, streamlining processes, and enhancing system integrations.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and external technology partners to meet business requirements.

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $210,000.00 per year plus bonus and benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
