The job holder is responsible for the entire life cycle of transcription services projects in each portfolio, ensuring customer expectation are met in terms of turnaround time, quality, and price; while in parallel ensuring budget/margin optimization.

Candidates must have a strong command of the English language. The position requires the ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines.

These positions are fully remote at this time and require that you have reliable internet connection.

This is a part time position and a typical work week would be somewhere between 20-30 hours but will vary based on the company’s needs and the starting hourly rate is $11 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Manage common and complex customer requirements (engagement and service set-up, process improvement and optimization)
  • Lead end-to-end transcription projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high quality transcriptions on time and within budget, whilst monitoring profit margins.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and continually improve localization processes for increased efficiency.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to transcriptionists and other stakeholders regarding quality issues and areas for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to maintain quality standards and streamline workflows.

  • High School Diploma or University Degree in lieu of experience
  • “can-do” approach to your work and a team player
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • For day-to-day communication, a native level of English is beneficial
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in transcription or localization related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Preferred

  • 1+ years’ experience working in English transcription or localization projects is preferable.
  • Good knowledge of commonly used desktop business applications. E.g. MS Office
