UX Engineering Intern

Across AI was cofounded by leaders in Human Centered AI, algorithm design, and a serial entrepreneur CEO. We build agentic solutions that accurately and verifiably reason over, augment, and enhance salespeople’s data to proactively improve their workflows. We aim to revolutionize entire enterprise processes, starting with sales.

We are looking for a summer intern in UX Engineering to join us in San Francisco during the summer of 2025! The internship will be 12 weeks long, and timing is flexible between May 1 and September 30. Our hope is for interns to become strong candidates for a part or full time UX role at our company in the future.

Role Description and Responsibilities:

  • Design and build interactive prototypes of new product features with live data, bringing abstract ideas to life

  • Collaborate with UX, PM, and Engineering to ensure that these designs meet user and business needs

  • Deploy and test prototypes with salespeople in their real work environments, and use the learnings to improve

  • Produce high quality reusable code in modern programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript and Python 

Requirements:

  • School: Currently enrolled in (or just graduated from) an undergraduate, Masters, or PhD program in computer science with a focus on human-computer interaction

  • Programming: Javascript (front end) + Python (connecting to our back end code), and experience using React Native for front end development

  • Prototyping: Prior experience developing interactive prototypes of user experiences

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with a small, focused team

Compensation:

  • Competitive, determined based on prior experience; does not include relocation costs to or from San Francisco
