This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 820 S. Boylan Ave., Raleigh, NC 27699.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Outreach and Education coordinator. They need to be familiar with AP (Associated Press) writing style and how to write to a mass audience across varying levels of education and backgrounds. Compliance with DHHS’ Office of Communications’ standards for marketing (i.e., PA-2 form, interview/photo/video consent form, etc.). Assist Regional Centers with editing of newsletter articles for proper English grammar (i.e., tenses, phrasing, etc.) utilizing track changes in Microsoft Office suite programs. Reframe content suitable for the mass (changing in-house lingo to educating the public). Format/ edit within the web-based newsletter/ Announcement system – Mail Chimp.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
