• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Prepares technical specification sections
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements
• Leads complex electrical design projects from conception to completion
• Mentors and guides junior engineers in electrical design principles and best practices
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
• Develops and implements innovative electrical design solutions to improve efficiency and performance
• Ensures compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Conducts feasibility studies and risk assessments for new electrical design projects
• Represents the company in client meetings and industry conferences to discuss electrical engineering solutions

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organisation (e.g., Institution of Electrical Engineers, UK)
• Healthcare design experience required
• Overall 13+ years of work experience is preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and electrical design tools
• Strong knowledge of relevant British and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., BS 7671, IEC standards)
• Experience in managing large-scale, complex electrical engineering projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative electrical design solutions
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior engineers and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
• Experience in preparing detailed technical specifications and reports
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient electrical systems
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its application in electrical design
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations and conduct power system studies
