Job Description

The Senior Architect serves as a fully capable professional in an architectural design team. The Senior Architect plans, (including budget + resources), schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on any/all phases of development on small to medium scale projects (or distinct portions of larger projects), with regular interaction with an Associate or designated senior team member.

Technical Excellence:

  • Architectural Design
  • Manage BIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy),
  • Design co-ordination (within Architecture & Cross Discipline)
  • Design co-ordination (within Engineering & Cross Discipline)
  • Design Delivery (Design Brief compliance, co-ordination, completeness & accuracy)
  • Guiding and management of team & junior staff, Client engagement, Team Leadership, Value Engineering, Mentoring

Qualifications

  • MArch - Masters of Architecture
  • 15+ Years post graduate experience
  • Professionally registered as PrArch with SACAP
  • Proficiency in Revit software package
