Job Title: Production Supervisor $36-$39/hour2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30 (Monday- Friday)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Lockland, OH. This role is for the 2nd shift, running from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work required. Training may initially occur on the 1st shift.Responsibilities• Meet with the 1st shift supervisor to hand off what was done during the day.• Oversee approximately 15 employees throughout the shift.• Write out assignments for the production team for the day.• Hold meetings at the start of the shift to assign tasks.• Monitor the floor and be hands-on if needed.• Resolve any problems that occur on the floor.• Meet with the 3rd shift supervisor to hand off what was accomplished during the 2nd shift.Essential Skills• Great leadership experience.• Supervision experience.• Attention to detail.• Experience in food or chemical production.• Ability to work well in a team.• Assertiveness without being overly friendly with production employees.• Safety oriented.• Steel toe boots/composite shoes.Additional Skills & Qualifications• College Degree (preferred).• SAP experience (preferred).Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic production environment with opportunities to apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
