We are continuously developing new answers for rail automation – often to questions that haven’t been asked yet.Position Overview:As the Warehouse Group Lead, you will provide direction in defining picking steps, preparing work instructions, and coordinating schedules. Your expertise will drive warehouse improvements and process control guidance, enhancing product quality. Ensuring all safety measures are followed will be a key part of your impactful role.What your day may look like:• Define key picking steps, sequences, and durations, and set up work scopes per station or cell to streamline operations.• Craft standardized work instructions that ensure consistency and efficiency.• Coordinate work schedules to meet and exceed operational goals.• Drive warehouse improvements, implement complex process changes, and integrate cutting-edge technology.• Provide critical process control guidance to logistics, production, maintenance, and quality control teams, enhancing product quality and dimensional accuracy.• Champion safety by ensuring all measures are meticulously followed.What you will need to be successful:• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.• Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams in these settings.• Demonstrated hands-on approach to problem-solving and implementing countermeasures within your areas of responsibility.We would be impressed if you had:• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.• 5+ years of experience in planning and supporting the launch of new production lines in low-speed production environments (e.g., rail, aviation/aerospace, naval, heavy equipment).• Relevant work experience in the rail industry, preferably in light rail, heavy rail, or related production.• Proficiency in SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems is highly desired.• Hands-on experience in customer service, maintenance, or aftermarket businesses and technologies within the rail industry is highly preferred.Why you'll love working for Siemens!• Freedom and healthy work-life balance– Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, HSA/FSA, Commuter Benefits – starting Day 1!• Solve the world's most significant problems – Be part of exciting and innovative projects.• Engaging, challenging, and fast evolving, pioneering technological environment.• Competitive total rewards package.• Opportunities to contribute your innovative ideas and get paid for them! The hourly range for this position is $22.29- $29.92. There is a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift and 20% shift differential for 3rd shift.
