Job Overview

Do you have the skills of a storyteller and designer and the efficiency of an editor on a deadline? You’re good at multitasking and interested in working in a fast-paced environment? Want to join a small group of creatives with flat hierarchies where your voice matters? We are looking for a marketing coordinator to join our team at Aethos Mallorca. You will be responsible for promoting the hotel, including our restaurant Onda/IKAT/Raig Rooftoop. You’ll make sure that every piece of content — from weekly events and newsletters as well as content on our websites — is creative, persuasive, and strategically aligned with our brand, our audience and goals. In this position, you will report to the General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing with a dotted line to the Aethos brand head office.


Responsibilities
  • Marketing & Content Support:
- Coordinate with various departments to gather content and materials for marketing collateral to promote Aethos Mallorca.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Assist in creating, updating, and curating marketing materials, both digital and print.
- Manage the production of high-quality visual and written content, coordinating with in-house or external creative teams.
- Support in the planning and execution of photo and video shoots.
- Monitor marketing trends and provide insights and recommendations.

  • Digital Presence
- Assist in maintaining and updating the website, ensuring all content is current and aligned with brand standards.
- Manage and monitor our social media presence, working closely with the Head of Social Media and relevant stakeholders.

  • PR Support
- Assist in handling media relations (e.g. responding to media inquiries, organizing press kits, and coordinating interviews).
- Track and archive media coverage.
- Coordinate and help manage media visits, including creating itineraries, arranging logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for visiting journalists and influencers.
- Assist in developing and disseminating press releases, ensuring alignment with the Aethos brand, and targeting appropriate media outlets.

  • Event Management
- Support in organizing marketing and PR events, including coordination, guest list management, and post-event analysis.
- Engage with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
- Help manage influencer cooperation during their stay on property.

  • Administrative Duties
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, and other departmental activities.
- Handle requests for marketing materials and coordinate distribution.
- Work closely with the marketing brand team and sales team to ensure that the local marketing efforts are aligned with brand and sales objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and results for senior management.
- Attend relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions.


Your requirements and qualifications:
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (ideally native speaker).
  • Write and edit like a true wordsmith in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, literature, history, political science, or related field.
  • Ideally 2–3 years of marketing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g. Hubspot) and design programs (Canva, Figma).
  • Organization and creativity with high attention to detail.
