ARPA-H is a federal research funding agency that supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs to provide health solutions that benefit everyone. Focus areas include health science futures, scalable solutions, proactive health, and resilient systems. Akoya will be assisting ARPA-H staff to grasp complex concepts, apply critical thinking, conduct strategic planning, perform analysis, communicate effectively, and work seamlessly across the breadth of different functional areas.The Graphic Designer supporting ARPA-H will be responsible for developing accessible visual communications that relay complex technical information. The Graphic Designer should be especially skilled in PowerPoint, computer-generated graphics, and web development. Please include a link to your portfolio demonstrating these capabilities.Competitive portfolios will…• Display familiarity with corporate and/or government design expectations• Include PowerPoint presentations that communicate technical content• Show proof of web development experienceRequirements• Minimum of 3 years of design experience and a Bachelor’s Degree• U.S. citizenship is required with verbal and written fluency in English• Must be able to receive and maintain a federal security clearance (public trust level)• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop• Must be proficient in MS Office products, especially PowerPoint• Must have experience with website developmentDesired Qualifications• Experience preparing technical presentations• Strong ability to interface with technical personnel• Experience in federal consulting and/or working in a research and development environment• Experience designing products that comply with Section 508 requirements
