Inflight Training & Standards Administrator

Summary

The Inflight Training & Standards Administrator primarily supports Inflight Training Management and all Inflight Training department administrative functions associated with training and standards activities. The role of the Inflight Training & Standards Administrator is to oversee the efficient coordination and dissemination of training events to Recurrent and Initial New Hire trainees, as well as to Instructors (both full-time and field instructors), Air Transportation Supervisors (ATS), and allied Allegiant business partners. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring the prompt processing of Inflight Field Instructors (IFI) and ATS compensation. This role involves actively monitoring the Training Coordinator and Training Scheduling email inboxes, providing assistance to the Inflight Training Scheduling team as required, and facilitating effective communication channels throughout the training process.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.


Education: Associate's Degree

Education Details: Associates degree.


Certification: No

Certification Details: Flight Attendant Certification is optional.


Years of Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in Inflight preferred.


•Expert knowledge of Excel software and proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite products.

•An experienced professional with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

•Strong prioritization skills, capable of efficiently managing tasks.

•Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

•Physical capability to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

•Expected to work 100% in-office.

•Specialization in office administration with a focus on organization.

•Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.

•One year of experience in Inflight.


Job Duties

•Coordinate onboarding logistics, travel, and lodging for new hire trainees and the Inflight Training team.

•Liaise with other departments as needed to oversee new hire uniform orders and distribution.

•Manage the FAA Flight Attendant certificate application process.

•Coordinate the Flight Attendant release to line and hiring process for the Inflight Training department.

•Maintain confidentiality when needed.

•Collaborate professionally with internal and external customers and all employees from front-line personnel to senior level executives.

•Travel locally between campuses as needed.

•Manage other Inflight Training administrative duties as needed.

•Implement and maintain a system to track and report trends to the Inflight Training Team.

•Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, change in workload and training schedule, rush assignments, or technical developments).

•Create and maintain equipment inventory control system and tracking.

•Perform tasks associated with inventory/ordering of office/breakroom supplies for the West Coast and East Coast Training Centers.

•Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.

•Other duties as assigned.

Office/IT - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24 hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
