Manager, Learning and Development

Job Description

The Manager, Learning and Development plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s talent capabilities by creating and leading learning and development strategies. This position focuses on developing training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and aligning employee development efforts within the organization. 

On this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business goals and employee need

  • Developing and delivering a standardized learning programs, including leadership development and professional skills training:

  1. Design, create and implement learning paths for job families and leadership development framework embedded in P&C processes

  2. Implement standardized approach to process trainings using e-learnings

  3. Implement strategy for development of business building skills across company

  • Coordinate work of L&D Partners team that supports HRBPs and business with development strategies

  • Build relationships with the business: excellent knowledge of specific BUs within areas, stakeholder partnerships, linking cross-area development initiatives, knowledge of area development strategies and goals

  • Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and their alignment with business outcomes

  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources, create standardized ways of work with HRBP to monitor budget usage

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors to deliver specialized learning programs when needed. Optimize cost and maximize effectiveness of using external vendors 

  • Coordinate implementation of e-learning platform

  • Collaborate with the L&D operations team: updating administrative requirements, communicating priorities, reporting and supporting improvements, maintaining and supporting operations standard set-ups

We are looking for the professionals who have:

  • Minimum of 7+  years of experience in learning and development, HR or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Expertise in learning and development tools (LMS systems)

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Familiarity with data analytics and HR technology platforms

  • Speak fluent Polish and English
