Allied National is excited to announce we are seeking an energetic and experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team! We are looking for a team player who is eager to work hand in hand with other Account Executives as well as Sales Representatives. This individual will be responsible for agent prospecting, training, and management of our sales and sales promotion activities. They will also work with all Allied sales channels including independent agents and all distribution channels that sell Allied group benefits products.
· Maintain current knowledge of group health insurance industry trends and competition within the marketplace.
· Exhibit and market (effectively interact) all Allied products at industry trade shows, conferences/meetings. Conduct educational webinars and on-site agent training events.
· Cooperate with appropriate staff in other departments within Allied to support the needs of agents in the field.
· Field and respond to phone calls referred to by other departments/officers and directly from the sales support line.
· Use Allied internal systems to complete and accurately document all pertinent sales and follow-up activity with assigned agent contacts.

Allied National is thrilled to welcome a new Account Executive to our vibrant team in Overland Park, Kansas! As an Account Executive, you'll play a key role in driving our sales initiatives, working closely with fellow Account Executives and Sales Representatives. Your main focus will be on agent prospecting, training, and managing various sales and promotional activities. You'll have the opportunity to engage with independent agents and multiple distribution channels that promote Allied’s group benefits products. Staying ahead of industry trends and competition is crucial, and you’ll gain insight by exhibiting our offerings at trade shows and conducting educational webinars and in-person training sessions for agents. Collaborating with other departments is essential to ensure that the needs of agents in the field are met, and you'll be the go-to person for responding to inquiries from both internal teams and agents. Your organizational skills will come into play as you document sales activities using Allied's internal systems. To succeed, we’re looking for someone with a High School Diploma (or equivalent), ideally with a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. You should possess at least two years of insurance sales experience and hold a current Life and Health/Accident Agent's license, or be willing to obtain it within your first three months. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential, and travel may be required for appointments.
