Marketing Apprenticeship Program - Data Analytics

Job Description

These positions are only available to candidates who are currently enrolled at a community college or trade school.

Apply to the Allstate Apprenticeship Program, a 24-month, fully remote, part-time, paid opportunity designed to give you hands-on experience in a career-related field while enrolled at a community or technical college.

As an apprentice at Allstate, you'll:

Learn: Engage in hands-on learning with flexible part-time scheduling to build a strong career foundation.

Start Date: Apprentices will begin in August 2025 with a week-long orientation.

Data and Analytics:

Conduct data analysis, survey design, and trend analysis to provide actionable insights for marketing strategies.

Key Skills: Analytical thinking, data synthesis, problem-solving, communication.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Job Title: Market Agency Local Programs Apprentice

Job Summary:

The Agency Local Programs Apprentice supports the planning, development, day-to-day execution and measurement of marketing tactics that drive profitable growth and retention for Allstate. The role is accountable for coordinating project development work for Allstate. This position consults with others in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other business areas to gain input on executing programs. The Agency Local Programs Apprentice will also support data, reporting and analytics to inform business decisions and provide actionable insights to program leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the planning, development and implementation of various programs and strategies, offering solutions and recommendations to manager and other contributing team members
  • Translates business questions to provide answers through reporting and analytics
  • Compiles, cleans, organizes, and analyzes data to understand business results and provides actionable insights
  • Monitors and evaluates business initiatives against created key performance indicators and communicates results and recommendations to management
  • Contributes to integration across marketing teams and other departments, building relationships with internal and external business partners and resources
  • Works on projects with management guidance and oversight
  • Participates in the development of presentations, program overviews, recaps, and other materials for internal meetings and presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess quantitative and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations to business clients
  • Effectively communicate concepts, tools, and techniques
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous business environment
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft suite; advance PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Familiarity with Tableau and Power Bi
  • Beginner presentation development and delivery skills
  • Beginner relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • This position is only available within the US, but not currently available for Puerto Rico, California, New York, Alaska, or Hawaii residents

Compensation

As an Apprentice, you will work part-time, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of pay between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on position. Benefits are also available.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
