DescriptionAmazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to architect, design, and develop technologies that deliver state of the art vision capabilities across multiple robotic platforms.As an Engineer on the Sensing and Compute team, you will be part of a passionate and diverse team of engineers who design scalable, robust, and highly performant vision systems across a world-wide fleet of robots. You will have opportunities to collaborate and work with research scientists, applied scientists, data scientists, hardware engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver the next generation of vision sensing to the Amazon portfolio.Key job responsibilitiesArchitect, design, and implement vision systems for robotic platformsInfluence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap.Work with stakeholders across , science, and operations teams to iterate on design and implementation.Maintain high standards by participating in reviews, designing for fault tolerance and operational excellence, and creating mechanisms for continuous improvement.Prototype and test concepts or features, both through simulation and emulators and with live robotic equipmentWork directly with customers and partners to test prototypes and incorporate feedbackMentor other engineer team members.A day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
