DescriptionJoin Amazon's Global FP&A Technology (GFT) team as a Senior UX Designer and help build the next generation of Amazon’s corporate internal finance systems and products that support enterprise-wide finance planning, reporting, analytics, and insights.At GFT, our mission is to empower Amazon’s Finance organization to work more efficiently and effectively through developing an autonomous intelligence-driven finance technology platform that seamlessly augments human capabilities across every stage of the Finance workflow lifecycle. The data flowing through our platform directly contributes to decision-making by our CFO and all levels of finance leadership.As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and passionate Sr. UX Designer to play a vital role in shaping the end-to-end experiences, insist on the highest quality of interaction design, and impact multiple experiences by harmonizing common patterns of use. In this role, you will help us define a North Star vision for financial system product user experience, and refine recommendations for common UI patterns.In crafting these experiences, you will work cross functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, Finance Managers, and many others across the organization. You will lead UX design from research and discovery to high fidelity designs and release. You will also be working closely with product managers to help craft the vision and set the product direction, and work with engineers to turn that vision into reality.To be successful, you must be a strategic thinker with clear design chops, impeccable attention to details, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively to peers, stakeholders, and executives.Key job responsibilities• Craft and drive UX strategy to shape the design of existing and green-field internal financial systems and tools.• Translate strategic UX goals into clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring seamless integration into development cycles.• Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance teams, analysts) to understand pain points, workflows, and requirements.• Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to streamline finance-specific activities and processes such as forecasting, reporting, and allocations.• Create intuitive navigation and interaction patterns that support complex data structures, large datasets, and finance workflows.• Simplify the presentation of financial data through thoughtful layouts, dashboards, and decision-support tools.• Insist on highest standards of interface designs and drive reviews with both internally and externally with stakeholders in product/engineering leadership.• Be a thought leader for UX practice within GFT and broader Finance community by continuously raising the bar via advocating user-centered design principles, and driving adoption of leading UX practices.About The TeamGFT team is a Finance Technology team within Corp FP&A. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
