The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.10012Key job responsibilitiesYou will provide exceptional leadership for a team of highly talented engineers that build and operate AWS AI/ML services that enable customers to expand their GenAI workloads.Our engineering teams support services running in air gapped regions that are often isolated from the public internet creating unique engineering challenges and opportunities for innovation. The AI/ML ADC team is responsible for diving deep to resolve operational challenges, innovating to automate operational tasks, supporting execution of various security campaigns (blocked software, host patching), and parity programs.As a leader you will:- Hire, motivate, mentor and develop a team of engineers, promoting growth and opportunity- Define the structure and strategy for the team determining the right mix of engineers and where they need to be allocated to meet the business goals.- Establish a roadmap and successfully deliver engineering solutions that execute that vision. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market.
