Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of internal tools and capabilities focused on Generative AI, process automation, and other technologies.
- Collaborate with individual employees, cross-functional teams, and various business units
- Learn about AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ corporate environment, what drives projects, and how such projects benefit the company.
- Apply what’s learned during technical work to understand how it fits into a bigger business picture
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
- 1 year of practical and/or academic experience in research, data entry and analysis, or reporting
- Knowledge of the basics of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, etc.
- Experience with research and technical writing
- An interest and curiosity in technological potential and drive to advance technology
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
