Role Description: We are seeking Technical Writer 2 to support the Health’s Data Modernization Initiative and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This role involves creating and maintaining documentation for existing and new data warehouse solutions, including transitioning to Azure and supporting public health policies through robust data analysis capabilities.

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities): 

• Elicit and analyze business needs using interviews, workshops, and other methods.
• Document functional and technical requirements for EDW projects.
• Develop user manuals, technical documentation, and process diagrams.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Maintain documentation libraries, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Prepare and present reports and project updates to stakeholders.
• Support multiple projects, including Azure migration and Reporting Hub initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT or data-centric environments.
• Expertise in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Strong skills in process modeling, wireframes, and diagram creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with documentation tools and standards compliance.

• Experience in public health or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with health applications and data systems.
