They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate Development team.Salary/Hourly Rate$95,000 - $115,000Position OverviewThis Senior Accountant will have industry experience and strong working experience in financial reporting and financial planning & analysis activities. The Senior Accountant review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP.Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and year end work papers, including account reconciliations• Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes including the consolidation of subsidiary entities• Preparation of the allocation of various expenses• Prepare monthly capital calls for certain development projects; includes draw modules and schedule maintenance• Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis• Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables• Assist in the compilation of information for the overall Company year-end audit• Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall departmental goals and objectives• Special projects as assigned by managementQualifications For The Senior Accountant• 3+ years of public accounting experience servicing development, construction and/or real estate clients• A designated CPA and Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently and collaboratively• Strong analytical ability using analysis tools and ERP systems• Excellent written and communication skills• Proficiency with MS Excel is required (pivot tables, V/X LOOKUPs, formulas, sum if, etc.)• Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting software a plusEducation Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredBenefits• Client provided benefits, upon eligibilityBy applying to this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, and/or emails from Atrium and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
