About the Role: As an Associate at our Ontario office, you'll be cross-trained in various practice areas, gaining invaluable exposure to estate planning, probate, trust administration, and estate litigation. We provide a nurturing atmosphere for your professional development, with a manageable requirement of 1,680 yearly billable hours.

About You:

• Experience: 1-5 years, with some litigation exposure or a keen interest in becoming a litigator.
• Independence: You're skilled at managing files from start to finish and thrive as a self-starter.
• Versatility: Eager to learn various practice areas, you value the mentorship of a senior attorney.
• Communication: Exceptional writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research
• Draft pleadings and legal documents
• Respond to discovery requests
• Conduct depositions
• Draft professional correspondence
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Manage estate planning, probate, and trust administration

• 1-5 years of experience, preferably in civil litigation (not required)
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Courtroom experience preferred
• Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn various practice areas
• Open to coaching and mentorship
