Job Description

We are seeking a strong candidate for the Boutique Director role to lead and oversee the team at our AP House - Los Angeles location.

The Boutique Director will focus heavily on developing business strategies to raise the Boutique’s customers’ pool and provide an elevated client experience unlike any other. Responsible for the boutique's overall day-to-day operations, for brand and product promotion, and for making productive contribution by organizing, assigning, and executing work to meet overall boutique objectives.

PRINCIPAL MISSION

Develop business strategies to raise the Boutique’s customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability. Responsible for the boutique's overall day-to-day operations. Accountable for providing best customer experience, for pre and post selling of the products of the boutiques, for brand and product promotion and for making productive contribution by organizing, assigning and executing work to meet overall boutique objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Boutique Operations:

  • Develop business strategies to raise the Boutique’s customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
  • Ensure the good functioning of the overall sales process in the boutique.
  • Implement the group retail strategy, guidelines, tools and targets in the boutique.
  • Monitor the sales KPI for the boutique. Ensure the best representation of the product collection.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Provide monthly rolling sales forecast.
  • Participate in the Budget forecast, LE1 and LE2 process.
  • Implement the marketing guidelines and tools at retail level.
  • Follow the marketing budget for the boutique.
  • Take part to the organization of specific marketing events.
  • Actively participate to events and develop networks.
  • Report on boutique activity, buying trends, customer needs, issues etc..
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Ensure the best after sales experience and apply the Group’s recommendations. Feed, monitor and use the customer database (CRM), and make sure of the accuracy and clarity of the information regarding the boutique’s clients.
  • Deal effectively with customer issues/complaints.
  • Responsible for complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and boutique chart.
  • Responsible for inventory management and quality.
  • Responsible for supervising the payments procedures and executions, the cash management of the cashier, as well as all export or border related procedures.

Team leadership and supervision:

  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
  • Create a positive working environment within the team.
  • Define individual targets for each staff member linked to the boutique KPIs.
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
  • Ensure training of the team on all new retail tools.
  • Responsible for respecting budgets and achieving targets to ensure efficient boutique operations.
  • Provide support to the sales forces when needed. Oversee the hiring and scheduling of boutique personnel.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of management experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software required.  
  • Proficiency with CRM systems - ability to provide client data and analysis on a regular basis.
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Be an example of well behavior and high performance.
  • Powerful leadership skills and business orientation.

Additional Information

Audemars Piguet offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $165k-$185k annually. This role is eligible for bonus. Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
