Automotive Sales Manager

Safford Brown Mazda Fairfax is currently seeking an experienced, proven, motivated Sales Manager to join our team. As one of the largest Mazda dealers in the area, we have a track record for market-leading sales and customer service and are looking for our next sales department leader.

Our brand-new state of the art Mazda Retail Evolution facility is nearly complete with a projected move-in at the end of this month! Mazda is supporting this with additional inventory allocations through the end of the year.

Our ideal candidate is driven with a strong understanding of multi-channel sales in today’s market and is enthusiastic about delivering a class-leading sales experience. Leadership by example through hands-on training the sales team, desking deals, working internet leads, and equity mining of our extensive client base.

Responsibilities

  • Daily involvement in CRM activities to drive business
  • Ongoing training of new car sales team
  • Customer interaction and negotiation to drive increased sales and profitability
  • Actively supports and motivates sales staff to achieve maximum results, maintain high morale, and provide an enjoyable atmosphere
  • Integral in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training new sales associates

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of stable employment history as Sales Manager in an automotive dealership with a verifiable track record of profitability, market share performance, and above average CSI
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
