Job Description

The team: 

The marketing and communications team is expanding in the Edinburgh office giving you a unique opportunity to join us as we grow.

Joining a small team of friendly and supportive professionals based in Switzerland you will be the owner in Avaloq for product marketing topics. 

  • Create and maintain content for all products and services on the Avaloq website, to position our offering in the market
  • Become the voice of the product, combining technical and business information to identify unique selling points
  • Produce and maintain marketing and sales materials to support Avaloq’s strategic objectives
  • Manage projects through the go-to-market process, ensuring smooth launch of a new products or services
  • Contribute to content development for major Avaloq events to demonstrate our latest developments
  • Build robust relationships with product and sales teams to ensure consistent communication and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • Strong proven track record of performance in a relevant role within the technology, financial, or wealth management sector, such as product marketing or product management
  • A well-developed understanding of the banking and wealth management segment, including key players, financial products, and services
  • Proven copywriting skills with experience in creating content for digital financial products
  • Proficiency in developing high-quality sales collateral, with advanced skills in MS PowerPoint
  • Solid project management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, including developments in AI

it would be a real bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with design agencies
  • Creating video demos
  • Launching digital products
  • Proficiency in German and Italian
