Position Overview:
The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving and merchant acquisition and account management within our consumer finance company. This position will focus on key categories, including Fashion, Mobile & Appliances, Home/Department Stores, Hypermarkets, Education, and Travel. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management skills, a deep understanding of the consumer finance landscape, and a proven track record in managing key accounts and acquiring new merchants.
Merchant Acquisition:
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new merchant partners across the specified categories: Fashion, Mobile & Appliances, Home/Department Stores, Hypermarkets, Education, and Travel.
- Identify and target potential merchants, leveraging market insights and networking to drive engagement and conversion.
Account Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key merchant accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned merchants, addressing their needs, concerns, and opportunities for growth.
Category Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the market trends and competitive landscape within the Fashion, Mobile & Appliances, Home/Department Stores, Hypermarkets, Education, and Travel sectors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to merchants based on category-specific trends and consumer behavior.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth through effective account management, strategic initiatives, and promotional activities tailored to each category.
- Monitor account performance metrics and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align offerings and ensure a seamless onboarding and service experience for merchants.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance the value proposition for key accounts.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other account managers and sales teams to share best practices and drive collective success in merchant acquisition and account management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales within the consumer finance or retail industry.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing key accounts, particularly in the specified categories.
- Strong understanding of consumer finance products and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
