About the Job
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to one of the most cutting-edge projects in crypto: BitVM Bridge. You will take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of critical bridge components, including:
BitVM Bridge libraries
Peripheral tools and applications surrounding the bridge
CosmWasm smart contracts on the Babylon chain for bridge-related interactions
Your work will directly impact the interoperability between the Bitcoin chain and the Babylon chain, advancing the state of decentralized security and usability.
What We're Looking For
We’re searching for a skilled, crypto-native engineer with a deep understanding of Bitcoin, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain security. You should have a proven track record of working with cutting-edge Bitcoin tooling and a strong commitment to following best practices in software development. You are responsible, collaborative, and excited to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in blockchain technology.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience working with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other major blockchain platforms.
2+ years of systems programming experience, particularly in Rust.
Skills:
Deep understanding of cryptographic primitives and their implementations.
Strong grasp of CI/CD practices and tools to ensure seamless and reliable deployments.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, to collaborate effectively in a global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Academic research experience or publications in cryptography, blockchain, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Rollups, State Channels).
Hands-on experience with ZKVM / BTC / Taproot / BitVM.
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
